Purpose of the job:
Our Inventory Specialist focuses on all aspects of inventory movement, such as restocking and accounting for the warehouse items. Inventory specialists are responsible for compiling and maintain records of the value, type, and quantity of a company's supplies.
List of duties:
- Enforce quality control standards through visual and dimensional inspection for acceptance of procured parts and assemblies as prescribed by BAI company manuals and the purchase order/sales order or contract
- Verify documentation
- Comply with ESD (electro static discharge) requirements when receiving ESD material.
- Enter, verify, and validate the accuracy of data input into BAI inventory control program
- Process materials returned by customers (RMA) for non-conformances and notify appropriate personnel
- Assists with shipping of product when needed
- Assists with internal and external Quality Management System audits as required.
Function as a team member working across multiple departments to achieve company goals.
Maintain neatness, efficient material storage and handling, labeling, stocking, accurate paperwork and organizing stock items on shelving, and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
Issue parts, supplies, tools, materials and equipment to company employees.
Perform periodic inventory counts. Includes data input, trouble shooting, and reconciliation.
Oversee local shelf life program, including monthly Parts To Expire Reports and subsequent removal of expiring parts from inventory.
Efficient tool storage, issuing and returning, handling, labeling, stocking, and organizing tool items.
Transmit all necessary documents to corporate office daily, or as required (Parts Issue Sheets, Receiving Log and Inspection paperwork, Parts Requests, etc.)
